Gyan Deep Charitable trust believes in continuum of care means working with women and children from birth to adulthood in order to break the intergenerational cycle of poor health. Gender-based violence cuts across all stages along the continuum of care. We aim to ensure they have continuous access to and awareness of the health services they need to live a healthy and safe life. We work with communities and public systems to prevent and address gender-based violence in a holistic manner. We work with adolescents to build knowledge of sexual and reproductive health issues and promote gender-equitable relationships.
Women and girls face physical, sexual and emotional violence in both private and public spaces. But violence is often considered a taboo topic and is rarely spoken about or reported. Public systems, such as health providers and the police, tend to be the first point of help, but are not always equipped to deal with cases of gender-based violence. Gyan Deep Charitable trust is against to any type of violence against women. We always stand behind you if you are facing gender equality or any type of violence raise against women. Our programme aims to prevent and address violence at four levels of society. Our approach embodies gender-transformative change, rights and women-centered intervention.
