Gyan Deep Charitable Trust, founded in 2018, is a trust registered under The Indian Trusts Act as a Public Charitable Trust. GDCT closely works with the deprived and vulnerable communities and empowers the socially marginalized by providing them livelihood services, and imparting skills leading to employment, health and education facilities.

GDCT focuses on livelihood services, child rights, human rights, young girls’ education, skill development and other community services.

Gyan Deep Charitable Trust provides stimulating activities, organized games, day-care and schooling programmes for many migrant and low socioeconomic children within the Bihar State community. Education shouldn’t be a privilege, it should be a right. An increasing number of children, girls, in particular, fall through the cracks of the education system.

These children have dreams which they never reach, either for economic or social reasons. Having even a high school degree drastically increases their earning potential and puts them closer to their goals.
